Objectives of the Doctoral Student Council
- working to improve the situation of doctoral students and ensure their rights are respected,
- exercising the rights and fulfilling the obligations set forth in the Act,
- organizing mutual assistance and collegial cooperation,
- voicing the opinions of the doctoral student community and making decisions on matters of interest to that community, including the allocation of funds earmarked for the activities of the Doctoral Council,
- participating in the deliberations and activities of the collegial bodies of the Federation and Participating Units in accordance with the principles set forth in the Act and the Statutes of the Federation and Participating Units,
- working to promote the integration of the doctoral student community.
Chair of the Doctoral Student Council:
- represents the Doctoral Council externally, unless the Council has appointed another representative,
- represents the Doctoral Student Council externally, unless the Council has appointed another representative,
- implements the Council’s resolutions,
- coordinates the Council’s work, including convening Council meetings and presiding over them,
- is a member of the Federation’s Doctoral School Council,
- is ex officio a member of the Senate of Participating Units, if such a requirement exists,
- systematically prepares and maintains minutes of Council meetings,
collects and maintains documentation related to the activities of the Doctoral Council, - is a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the Federation’s Doctoral School, and of other relevant committees if appointed by the Council.

Member of the Doctoral Student Council responsible for research activities:
- serves as a member of the Federation’s Doctoral School Disciplinary Appeals Committee and other relevant committees when appointed by the Council,
- coordinates processes related to doctoral students’ academic activities,
- approves proposals for the Council or the Doctoral Council to enter into commitments.

Member of the Doctoral Student Council responsible for research activities:
- is a member of a committee when appointed by the Council,
- performs tasks related to representing the Doctoral Government externally, as assigned by the Council,
- performs tasks related to representing the Council externally, as assigned by the Council,
- coordinates processes related to the Council’s sponsorship of academic events,
- coordinates processes related to communication with doctoral students.

Doctoral Student Council – Documents
On October 27, 2025, in accordance with the Regulations of the Doctoral Student Council of the VIZJA University Scientific Federation, the doctoral students elected the Doctoral Student Council. Following the vote, the Doctoral Student Council consists of:
- Wiktor Gawłowicz, M.A. – Chair of the Doctoral Student Council.
- Michał Pietrzak, M.A. – Secretary of the Doctoral Student Council.
- Sebastian Traczyk, M.A. – Member of the Doctoral Student Council.
